This is a great example of sugar quartz with good clarity on one side of the crystal and a more white colour on the oppositte side. This crystal is formed of one central quartz point and lots of smaller point formes all over, many of these smallet points have great clarity and rainbows. Sugar Quartz is named after its resemblance to a sparkling sugar coating, of smaller sparkling quartz points formed all over the main quartz point in an almost parrallel direction. This quartz crystal found in madagsgar measures 9cm x 4cm x 3.5cm in size.
