This beautiful large malachite comes from Congo. It is highly polished to a glossy surface on the front, with a more Matt finish on the back. It comes with a stand. This is quite a large piece, it measures 16.5cm from tip to tip and 7cm across by 3cm thick. 

This piece was extracted from the earth by a small scale family run business in Congo who collect and sell Malachite material from their own land. It was polished in South Africa by another small scale family run business.
